St. Teresa of Calcutta
St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) is arguably the world's most famous Catholic nun. This modern-day saint devoted her life to helping the poor. She is the beloved founder of the Missionaries of Charity and recipient of the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize. On September 4, 2016, St. Theresa of Calcutta was canonized by Pope Francis and declared the Patron Saint of Volunteers.
